First thing to do when trying to lose weight when you are obese. Find out how to lose weight get slimmer and stronger, how to lose 10 stone fast. Get your plus size weight loss plan.

Obese Does Not Mean Impossible

A strong title, but it needs to catch your attention.

The more weight someone gains the harder it becomes to lose it. We become desperate and try a million things in order to lose an extra pound, but in exchange we gain two.

At one point when it becomes incredibly painful, hard and time consuming to even walk to your local store, you start giving up.

You are thinking of living your whole life like this and falling into depression.

You start feeling restrained, you notice how easily people accomplish tasks, that normally for you would be an achievement.

You start losing hope, the last thing you cling to.

You think to yourself “What can I do?”

This is where I wish to step in and tell you that you are not alone, you never were.

There are millions of people like you all over the world.

People that understand you and your suffering.

But what is even more amazing is that, there are millions of those who have successfully lost hundreds of pounds, regained their body back, restored their health, and created a healthier and more loving environment around them at the same time.

Let’s start from the most important idea that you must understand, but more than likely you already know it, instead you think it’s just gibberish.

Ask yourself.

Are you stuck in your own body and can’t do anything, or maybe you are stuck with the idea inside your head that you will never be able to lose weight, even if you do your best?

I know you might think about these written words as just another blog, but really ask yourself.

If you have never REALLY tried to make a life changing decision. Then why not just try it once at least.

Obesity can be caused by a thyroid condition, or sometimes food is the culprit.

I highly recommend consulting your local doctor before trying any type of diet.

Calorie Calculator

What is the first step to combat obesity and how you can start doing it right now!?

First we will need a Calorie Calculator MyFitnessPall is a great app that is available for both iOS and Android.

With this great app we can start calculating the amount of calories we eat.

As an example:

The recommended amount of calories for women is 2,000 calories per day.

Which means you will have to consume less than that if you wish to start losing weight.

If you cut your calorie intake by 500 and consume only 1,500 calories a day you will start losing naturally 1-2 pounds every week.

And we did not even take into consideration weight loss boosters or exercising even.

This is the oldest trick in any weight loss diet program, you burn more than you eat.

That is the whole secret behind your success.

Clean Up The Whole House

For someone who is obese and can’t handle his or her cravings, you need to remove all the bad foods from your home.

Anything that is processed or contains huge amounts of sugar.

This is your first serious step towards your goal.

If you don’t even try it, then you might as well just give up. I guess it’s the hard truth that everyone is trying to deviate from, but I will make it clear that, if you want to become healthy, you want to lose those ugly, toxic and heart breaking fat blocks, you will do it, because you can do it.

Remember mind over body. It’s all in our heads.

What Will I Eat?

But hey, it does not mean you will be eating brick and cardboard.

Absolutely not, you will be having excellent organic fresh food.

Cooking it yourself will help you count how many calories you consume.

Fruits and veggies will be in abundance, although you might think that they are not as tasty as the processed foods, and you will be right, processed foods are created in such a way that they tap into your receptors exciting them and manipulating them into giving false signals, that are transmitted to your brain telling it how good the food is, when actually it’s poison.

But thanks to Pinterest you can find hundreds of thousands of delicious recipes that you can make fast and easy right in your own kitchen.

The amount of delicious, healthy, quick and cheap meals you can make for your weight loss program is amazing.

Here is are a couple of lists:

  • Keto Diet Plan
  • Pale Diet Plan

These are only a couple of lists you can find while searching Pinterest for recipes that you could cook right now.

Exercising… O word of horror for those who can’t.

We see sometimes people recommending exercise from the get-go and I think that is correct.

But let’s tune things down a little since, you might have not exercised for a long time and you could actually hurt yourself in the process which would lead to injuries that can have a toll on your life.

Start with something simple.

If you have a hard time walking, then you can start with that.

Do it every day, or at least 3-4 times a week so that your body starts to understand that you are being under stress and you have to start building muscle.

Muscle will help you burn even more fat, which is great.

Resistance bands are a great start too, you don’t even have to leave your bed in order to start exercising, great for those who have a hard time to even stand.

Aerobics in bed are good for starters also.

You need to take advantage of every possible exercise you can, strengthen your body before you can start doing more serious exercise in order to burn even more fat.

The Lifestyle

I’ve noted this in my previous blog post that, if you wish to lose weight you have to make a life changing decision, and that is a new lifestyle that will allow you to lose the weight that is holding you back from your goals.

It does sound dramatic but it really is not.

It’s not like someone is telling you: “You need to leave your family and past behind yourself now!”

No, absolutely not!

It is actually the other way around, people will bond around yourself and you will use that love and project it into something better for everyone for yourself.

With the support that is now surrounding you moving forward is much easier.

Be Like a Fish

Swimming is you next best bet.

Swimming is a whole-body, non-impact workout.

It is a great activity that has no pressure on your joints and combines cardio and muscle-building in one activity.

In time you will start feeling better but you will notice that you are losing less weight even when you force yourself with more physical training.

At this moment your body starts to build muscle and you actually trade fat for muscle, which is great!

Muscle will help you lose weight consistently since you are burning more calories than consuming.

Try to look past the weight gap between you and your goal and start actually living.

Your spirit is up, you understand now that your goals are reachable and not impossible as you have thought to begin with.

Oh no! A plateau!

At one point you will hit a plateau.

What does it mean? Is this the most you can do with your body?

Most likely, your body has adapted to the diet and exercises you are doing every time you visit the swimming pool, gym, or even at home doing fitness or muscle building.

Revisiting your diet and exercise routine you will discover what you can improve, add or subtract.

What about Surgery?

As a last resort you can consider surgery.

Lots and lots of success stories of people who have undergone weight loss surgeries have had more than positive results.

But even before Doctors try to operate, they will ask you to start a diet that will make sure you are in optimal parameters to undergo the surgery, so there is no risk for your life.

Support Groups

I would like to touch one more thing.

When you think you are alone, remember you are not. There are plenty support groups of people who are in the same situation as you. They are supportive, kind, gentle, and will always be there to share their hard moments and their greatest achievements. And you can be one of them.

You are a human just like everyone else.

We all have our lows and highs.

But you must walk forward no matter what.

For you families, children, friends… for yourself.
